I have been in sports my entire life and as I became an adult I transitioned that into running races. I had done half marathons, marathons, and various fun races such as tough mudders. Drew and I came up with a plan to run a Boston qualifying marathon that October. He provided me with an extremely thorough training plan which included specific runs and work outs for each day of the week. I loved how easy it was to follow and how it gave me a clear outline of exactly what I needed to do. Not only that, but it is obvious how much knowledge Drew has about the science of training endurance athletes. He is able to explain the reason behind everything he recommends, including different types of workouts, proper nutrition, etc. When I had trained myself in the past, I was used to always feeling like I wasn’t doing enough or wasn’t on track to meeting my goals, which led to anxiety and burn out. Drew gave me a clear plan for how to safely build distance while getting faster in the process. The best part was having Drew as a supporter throughout the entire journey, with him adapting my plan as needed and celebrating my successes with me. It really made training so much more enjoyable.
Fast forward to that October, I ran the Grand Rapids marathon and easily qualified for Boston. It was the first time I had finished a race with no injuries in sight and feeling excited to keep running. Drew then developed another plan specific for Boston’s marathon, especially making sure I was going to be ready for the elevation Boston’s course has. I had the same great experience training, and again without any anxiety or injuries!

Before I started training with Endure (Drew), I was consistently in pain and not hitting my goals. For perspective, I used to play collegiate soccer and due to my copious amounts of training through the sport, running always came very easy to me. Following graduation, entering the workforce and recovering from a painful hardware removal surgery in my femur, I felt like I’ve spent the last 2 years consistently running with pain, fatigue and falling short of my goals.
Endure (Drew) helped me get back on track with an individualized training plan. He took consideration creating a realistic plan to fit my schedule with opportunities for strength, recovery runs, tempo runs, and endurance runs. He takes training to a whole new level by incorporating check-ins to tweak my plan and additionally preps me for the nutrition and hydration needs my body will require for race day!
My biggest goal was to return to running, pain-free and with Endure I did it! STL half marathon here I come!
I've been a runner for over 10 years. When heading out for a run my goals are typically to run as fast and as far as I can. I've never had much strategy beyond that. Drew taught me the value of holding back and pacing myself to allow my body to develop true endurance. Learning what Drew has taught me will allow me to run pain-free for the rest of my life. Endure guided my pathway to becoming an Ironman Triathlete! While training on my own for other smaller events, I knew that taking on the Ironman event would require more coaching. Before being coached by Endure I would just go out and run a certain distance every day as hard as I could. If I wasn’t feeling the “burn” I didn’t feel like I had a good run that day. Despite this training, the race times I was putting up were not improving. When I began being coached by endure, they educated me on the science of training. I learned how I was probably in an overtrained state, which is why my times were not budging. Endure helped me sift through the abundance of available information and customized a plan for me. I have learned a whole lot about the science of training since working with Endure. Plus, the first event I did with their coaching was a half marathon, I PR’d by over 10 minutes.
